I bought 2x2s and 2x4s and I already made a video highlighting the 5 colour options for the 2x2s so i created another video for the 2x4s. Once again, I love how you can choose between 5 CCT Colours and 5 Wattages and all 5 colours are very bright and dim very smoothly. We ended up going with the 4000K to match the 2x2s and because the natural white was soft and bright at the same time, perfect for our store and customers. I would recommend SolaMax LED Panels to anyone looking to upgrade.

I've bought 24 units to use in my basement. 1) Compared to other products, this one is better by far. Less power consumption, multiple colors (5) and small size. 2) Customer Service is the BEST. I had one of the lights not working. I contacted the seller, the seller responded within hours and made sure to send me replacement unit. So when you look for product, make sure you check the customer service cause it makes a BIG difference.

I installed this light in my garage, above my work area. The light is bright. There is a five-position switch on the back of the light. It can adjust the color temperature. It goes from warm to daylight to cool, with a settings in the middle that are a combination of both. The light doesnβt come with a plug. Normally, this would be flush with the ceiling, but since I installed it in my garage, I simply used some drywall anchors and four hooks to hold it up. I secured them to the corners of the light fixture. I wired the light using an extension cord for a 110-volt outlet. I connected the plug to a smart outlet. Now, I can control the light with an app or the smart assistants around my house. Iβm very pleased with the results. It gives me plenty of light for working in my garage.

I bought these pot lights for the inside of my house and when I decided to put pot lights outside I knew I had to repurchase. These pot lights make my house stand out on my street and my neighbours even commented on how beautiful they made the house look. I highly recommend these lights for anyone looking to replace their existing light fixtures. Compared to buying local these are a great alternative as you get the same quality for a much cheaper price.

User friendly such a good product for price thanks

Iβm a contractor and recently used these in a commercial installation. There was no damage to the lights in shipping and no surprises with installation. All went well. Would definitely recommend

We installed 120 of these 2x2 LED Flat Panel Lights after our previous Lithonia 2x2 Panels from Home Depot went out after just a year. Those lights didn't come with a warranty but these come with 7 years warranty, which is really impressive. These lights are 2 times brighter then the Lithonia ones and unlike those, these have 5 colour options. We went woth 6000K and our warehouse is so much brighter. They also give amazing bulk dicounts so don't hesitate to call.

SolaMax 4 Pack 2x4 LED Flat Panel Light Fixture Selectable Color Temperature 3000K/3500K/4000K/5000K/6000K Drop Ceiling Office Lights 60W/50W/40W/30W/25W Dimmable 0-10V, 8100 LM, Flat Backlit Fixture, Dustproof - ETL, DLC I'm in the process of remodeling our finished basement. It has a drop ceiling with 2x4 panels and very little clearance between the ceiling and the floor joists above. Previously, there was a mixture of old 4 foot florescent tube fixtures and an incandescent 4 bulb fixture that I removed. The home as built in the 1960's and all the wiring was in EMT metal conduit. I decided to order 12 of the SolaMax 2x4 LED Flat Panel Light Fixtures to fill out the finished basement space. The SolaMax panels matched all of my requirements and I have previously had good experience using SolaMax Pot Lights and fixtures in other parts of my house and yard. I ordered three 4 Packs from the website to receive 12 panels for the basement. I needed very low profile, light weight, self contained units. They are 1.6 inches tall and weigh about 8 pounds each. The ceiling framework alone supports them easily. I wanted selectable CCT ceiling panels. They have a small 5-way sliding switch to select between 3000K warm white, 3500K soft white, 4000K natural white, 5000K daylight and 6000K cool white color. I found that 4000K is my favorite color of light for the basement. I didn't want the lights to be too bright and they needed to be dimmable. 8100 lumens is more than enough for 100% brightness in the low basement ceiling. The SolaMax panels are dimmable from 100% down to 5% with the right type of dimmer. They require 0-10vdc dimming which requires separate low voltage wiring for the dimming. I found the Lutron Diva DVSTV is SolaMax approved and handles both the AC power on/off (3-way) and the 0-10v dimming in one standard wall unit. I needed 3-way on/off switching as there is a light switch both at the top and the bottom of the stairs. I installed the dimmer at the bottom of the stairs. I extended the EMT conduit wiring using 3/8" steel flex cable. It took only 3 hours to remove old ceiling tiles, install the panels, and wire them to AC power. I needed access on both sides (4 foot) to slip the panels into the framework. I also plan to replace all the ceiling tiles in the next few weeks so I didn't bother to replace the tiles which I removed. It took another 30 mins on another day to wire the low voltage and install the new dimmer switch. The finished results are fantastic! At full brightness, the basement is well lit with uniform light. It reminds me of a school classroom. When dimmed down to 10%, the lighting effect is equivalent to a nice restaurant for an evening meal. I am so happy that I ordered the SolaMax panels and replaced our basement lighting.

What a beautiful set of lights! The easiest to install, simple to wire, multiple lighting options! Iβm not sure why anyone would buy through Home Depot when these are literally a third of the price! You will need standard 14 gauge electrical wire to daisy chain between each light, but the wire connectors and junction boxes come in the package when you purchase. Make sure you pair with a Lutron Diva dimmer switch for best results. Measure and mark out where you want your new lights, drill a hole with a 4.25β hole saw, and then run electrical wire from hole to hole. Use the control boxes and included wire connectors to daisy chain the wiring all the way through to the last light in your run. Your electrician will love how easy this install is and you will love the fit and finish of these lights. Has 5 different lighting types available (selectable by a switch on each control box). Youβll thank me later if this review is the one that helped you decide on these lightsβ¦.enjoy!

Our tattoo shop here in Ottawa used to be an old office building. So they had these type of lights, but not LEDs and not as bright as advertised here. So, the lights come with very good instructions that are clear and easy to follow. But, if you have lights like this already then youβll find a quick pop in and out and youβll have some amazing bright LED lights! When owning a Tattoo shop itβs important to have bright lights for our tattoo artists and piercers so they can see!!

Wonderful product. Low profile blends into the background. Lots of light when needed.

Well made LED and control box, flicker free light, control box is totally silent (if used with no dimmer or an ELV dimmer), works very well with an ELV dimmer. Lutron Diva 300-Watt Electronic Low-Voltage Dimmer DVELV-300P-WH, works amazing and it does not cause any noise in the LED control box. I will only use ELV dimmers from now. I ended up buying two more 12 x 5CCT LED packages to install them everywhere in my basement. The control box is also bigger than others in order to make proper connections. Very easy to install.

I'm kicking myself for not upgrading the four 20-year-old fluorescent light fixtures I had in my garage sooner. These are very bright, turn on instantly with no more buzzing or blinking or random tunes not turning on The instructions are well written and clearly illustrated. Installation was as simple as connecting 3 wires using the included wire nuts. Definitely a recommendable product!

Solid pot lights, much brighter than the previous brand I installed. Went with these ones because the price was right and unmatched brightness

SolaMax products are great. These are no exception. The 4-panel pack arrived in good conditions, and inside they are well-padded. All four worked without any issues. I replaced my old tube lights in the basement drop ceiling with these and cannot be happier. They give out consistent, uniform, bright lights that are easy on the eyes. The old tubes these replaced were 40W each, and there are 4 tubes in each light. For the four lights I have, this comes out to 640W total. For the replacement, I selected 60W for each light panel, totaling 240W. That's a 400W savings everyday going forward. They are also twice as bright and quieter than the old tubes with ballast. Installation was no comparison to the old heavy tube lights. These are very light and easy to handle. I did the installation by myself, something that was not possible with the old tube lights.
These lights are perfect for any 2x4 drop ceiling lighting installation. The lights are incredibly lightweight, making overhead installation much simpler and quicker than with other 2x4 panel lights. The wire box has plenty of room to connect wires and the wires are plenty long enough to easily make the wire connections and each panel light comes with a package of wire nuts. Another useful feature is that the dimming wires are accessible from both ends of the wire box. After testing these panel lights, I found that each light draws approx. 62 watts and provides plenty of light without being too bright. Both the dimming circuit and the selectable color temperature switch work perfectly. just watch out because the lights can easily be damaged by simply pulling the fixtures out of the box if youβre not careful. Unfortunately, that's going to be an inherent issue with such a lightweight light fixture, so be cautious handling the fixtures! Otherwise I'm very happy!
I recently moved into a new house that features a spacious three-car garage, but the builder-installed lights are weak and inadequate for such a large area. Since I use the garage not only for parking my cars but also for woodworking projects, having good lighting is essential. While browsing for better lighting solutions, I came across this product and was immediately intrigued. Although I knew this product was primarily designed for installation on tile ceilings, commonly found in office spaces, I liked that it features LED technology and various adjustment options. So, I decided to order it and get creative with the installation. I hung the panels in my garage using thin chains that I attached to the garage ceiling, securing them to the panels. To my delight, this setup worked exceptionally well! The light panels themselves are fantastic; they are sealed and emit an incredible amount of bright light that completely transforms the garage environment. Additionally, they are dimmable, allowing me to easily control the light intensity. I set them to 6000K for a bright, daylight-like effect, and I can adjust the brightness using the wall switch, which makes it super convenient. I am genuinely happy with this product. In terms of pricing, I believe it aligns perfectly with the quality offered and is even more affordable than comparable options I found at big-box stores. Given my experience, I highly recommend this lighting solution for anyone needing effective and versatile lighting for their garage or workshop!
We decided to do a small kitchen update by removing some track lights and getting a nice, large LED. Iβve purchase this brand of lighting in the past and always been pleased with it. I am very pleased with my decision now! My husband and I put this up yesterday, and it took us maybe 15 to 20 minutes. Super simple process but it might be a bit difficult to hold it by yourself. This picture shows the light at 4000 K.
I'm using these SolaMax 2' x 4' LED light panels to illuminate a workshop shed area and so far they have exceeded my expectations. I got the 4 pack which came very well packaged complete with instructions for operation and wiring. They are primarily intended for drop ceilings but can also be surface mounted which is how I am installing these. They are very lightweight for their size and have 4 brackets that can be utilized for hanging if needed. The wiring is relatively simple requiring only 3 wires for a standard 110V supply. The connection boxes come with a variety of knock-outs giving you options on how to run your wires. Dimmer switch wiring is also included but I'm not utilizing those for my installation at this time. Each panel can be adjusted prior to mounting to provide your desired color temperature and brightness. There are 5 levels of brightness, all of which deliver a good amount of light. I'm primarily powering these from a battery power bank which I can use with solar to provide hours of usage after dark. Much will depend on your particular setup but they are certainly very bright enough for my situation and the efficiency is a plus, providing longer runtime for my battery/inverter setup. The light output is very smooth and non-glaring and as long as you have access to the switches you can adjust them easily to suit your environment. Time will tell if they continue to run reliably but for now, these get 5 stars.
